Do you ever feel like people just don't get you? It's almost like they really don't understand you beyond the surface? Well guess what, I have felt this way and at times still feel that way. It's amazing because sometimes I have to catch myself because feeling misunderstood can put you in a place of isolation and a place where you feel alone. Some of us may think of being misunderstood as a downfall, but when you understand who you are and know your purpose, you understand how important it is to be misunderstood.

Just because you're misunderstood doesn't mean that something is wrong with you. Being misunderstood can actually be one of the best things because it separates you from who you don't need to be associated with and puts you right where you need to be in terms of your future and where you're going. People will have their own opinions and thoughts about you but what matters most is that you understand your uniqueness.

So what is the big picture here? If you are in a place or point in your life where you feel like you are misunderstood, instead of becoming depressed about it, embrace it. Nobody knows your journey or what you have been through. You have to be okay with being misunderstood and know that it is your obligation to persevere even if others have something to say. Just because you're misunderstood doesn't mean you don't have a purpose and plan set before you that you have to fulfill.

Don't let what people have to say drive you to a place where you don't even recognize yourself. So many times we can get caught up in living for other people and totally lose sight of what we are supposed to do. Believe it or not when we get to a place as such, God will allow us to go through isolation and moments of misunderstanding just to separate us so we can regain your focus. Don't allow those feelings of being misunderstood drive you to a place of depression and don't give up just because of how you're feeling. Be misunderstood and still achieve your dreams and goals. Be misunderstood still go the extra mile. In due time people will begin to understand that being misunderstood leads to greatness!
