Do you ever get to a point where you feel like you're just tapped out? Like you have nothing left to continue? No more energy, no more brain power? Well you're not by yourself because I feel that way at times too. How many times have you questioned if chasing the dream or the idea was worth it? I’m here to remind you that it is worth it. It's more than worth it. That dream or idea may require sacrifice of life’s pleasantries.

The cost of ambition is a hefty one. Everyone won't understand the cost and why you're so willing to go above and beyond. I'm a firm believer that in order to be successful, there are sacrifices that will have to be made. Success isn't a walk in the park because it requires you to do everything you can to reach that point. So that means you'll have some instances where you may have to sacrifice time with friends, hanging, partying and more often than not, you'll sacrifice sleep. Yes you will have sleepless nights and nights where you rest only for a few hours but that's the price of having a vision and trying to carry it out.

I know it can be draining but what if you don't do what you know you're supposed to do? Think about it this way. Who will be affected if you don't do what you've been called to do. Is sleep more important than potentially impacting the lives of people for the better? In all actuality, you should be tired because that means you're actually working and putting forth the effort. And what we have to remember is that in our weakness, God's strength is made perfect. So in times where we are tired and drained, God steps in to give us exactly what we need to do everything He needs us to do.

It is so imperative that no matter what, you keep going. There's a blessing in perseverance and being willing to go beyond to accomplish what has been set out for you to do. Everyone gets tired but that's when you have to tap into the source and know that it is all worth it. What has to be understood is that it's bigger than us individually. There are people's lives and futures at stake here. And at the end of the day, if you really couldn't handle it, God wouldn't have placed it before you in the first place. We are only designed to go so far in our own strength, which is why we have to stay prayerful and connected to Him. And when you feel that you can't go on just remember to not get weary in well doing because you will reap if you faint not. You may be tired but you're sowing seeds and because of your diligence and hard work, the harvest you'll receive will exceed every feeling of tiredness, stress, incompetency and the feeling that it's all in vain. Hold on! You may be tired, but you have to keep pressing!
